Golden Raisins

Unlike traditional raisins, golden raisins are dried in large dehydrators with controlled temperature and humidity. They are also treated with sulfur dioxide, which prevents the skin from darkening and acts as a preservative.

They are usually pale yellow to golden in color, plumper, and moister than dark raisins.
Golden raisins have a sweet-tart taste, making them versatile for both sweet and savory dishes.

Black Raisins

Black raisins (also called Kaali Kishmish) are usually sun-dried without sulfur treatment, which gives them their deep brown to black color.

Smaller, darker, and chewier compared to golden raisins.- Sweet, rich, and slightly caramel-like taste.

Brown Raisins

Malyar Raisins

Cultivated mainly in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and southern India, where the sunny climate and fertile soil create ideal conditions.

They are naturally sun-dried, which locks in natural sweetness and preserves vitamins.Characterized by a light brownish-red color, sometimes with yellow or green particles.Sweet, chewy, and juicy compared to other raisin.
